Vascular Plants, Day 3

Day 3 and Callie is begining to see the color in the flowers and stalks of the celery.

The blue is only showing on one flower.

You can clearly see the orange color in the stalks of the celery

The orange is much lighter in the stalks

    so did you use the pink flowers to see if the blue would over power the pink, rather then use just white?

    Eventually the flowers will have blue tips. The vascular system that pulls nutrients from the roots will pull the color up and into the flowers. The blue shows up well on the pink flowers.
