Brent is eagerly anticipating his ant colony's arrival. He is setting up their new home. He poured in sand and then is adding sugar water using a pipette. The water will evaporate, leaving the sand harder and full of sugar for the ants.

Seriously?! you ordered ants? I could of given you the ones that come crawling into my kitchen. For free! Do you have a lid? what kind of ants. Will you feed them or will they eat the sugar you put in the sand instead?
They came free with the ant farm, who was I to turn down something that was free. I can take yours too and they can battle. I'm not sure what kind, I'll have to look. You can feed them, but they get nourishment from the sugar in the sand too.
